Dan (aka Glamfly) is in Aberdeen, WA. It's pretty close to Seattle. Might wanna look him up. Yeah, Monday is Martin Luther King's Birthday. National holiday.

Oh well, hope ya had a good time. It's a great city. Alwayz have a ton of fun there. Next time, give me some warning.....that goes for anyone else too.
It'd be cool to meet a few of my fellow glamsters.

Hey guys,
Seattle is rather cool, a lttle quiet though cos I just missed the weekend !
Is there much going on during the week as well ? always tough if you haven't done your research or spoken to locals. The hostel Im staying at is well located but there seem to be a large number of unemployed kids staying here temporarily while looking for a place/job, security leaves a little to be desired.

A lot more goes on during the week in the summer...not so much in the winter. There is always a lot going on on the weekends. And yes, the unemployment rate in WA is terrible. We have a retarded Governor who taxes the shit out of small businesses, which forces a lot of them out of business. That, combined with the dot com bust, and WA being the most taxed state in the US, just puts a lot of people out of work. I hear it's getting a little better, but I haven't seen it. My friends have gotten laid off from Boeing (2 of them) and Qwest. 2 big companies that are laying off people. Anyway, hope ya had a good time. It is a pretty laid back city too...
